About Anne

Anne Spry is an author and a late-blooming entrepreneur. She has discovered the joys of faith and spirituality in her 70s and wants to help raise collective consciousness for a better world.

Her Mission

To realize life while living it and become what Thornton Wilder called one of the “saints or poets.”

Her Values

Through Christian values and by exploring sacred texts such as the Bible and “A Course in Miracles,” build awareness of the beauty and joy that we can find in our surroundings and other individuals every single day of our lives.

Anne Spry calls herself a hybrid Christian. You’ll have to read her blog to discover how she defines that term. But long story short, she has belonged to and been baptized by several religious denominations. These days she’s dabbling a lot in metaphysics and spirituality and practicing gratitude nearly every day.

It has been a long, arduous journey arriving at this point in her faith and belief system. But she’s been relying on a divine presence for most of her 70 plus years, even when she didn’t realize it.

When her father died suddenly in an accident when she was four years old, God brought Anne and her brother a loving older couple to mentor through childhood summers and difficult times when their mother was busy trying to support them and meander through a slew of stepfathers. Anne was a victim of childhood physical, sexual and verbal abuse who found solace in school and escape in the pages of books and a vivid imagination. She became quite the introvert and emotional cripple, determined to keep her feelings locked tight inside, mistakenly thinking it would ensure she didn’t get hurt again.

Despite her dysfunctional childhood, Anne’s troubled mother made sure she was introduced to church attendance. When she married, she became a Catholic, relieved to find a mate who wouldn’t divorce her the way her mother had been left numerous times. (That backfired 21 years later, but it just made her stronger).

In Anne’s second marriage, she became acquainted with spirituality and metaphysics and finally became a true, conscious believer in the divine and in the amazing world of multiple dimensions.

Always a student of religion, she finally learned to pray, meditate and read spiritual, sacred writings upon the death of her second husband after 21 years of marriage. Upon attempting to marry again in the Catholic Church and going through the process of annulling her first marriage, Anne learned the power of forgiveness of herself and others. That was her true launchpad into becoming a more loving individual and evolving in her Christianity.

She credits her many teachers, friends and mentors for guiding her into a more purposeful, satisfying life full of love and faith. And now her lifelong career as a writer seems to be morphing into things more spiritual and inspirational as she hopes to help raise consciousness and lift vibrations into what really matters most in life–loving each other and the planet.
